Safety, Quality & Accreditation
The company facts, kept current and easy to check.
Overview
What FRS holds, and when it was last confirmed. Builders, facility managers, consultants and procurement teams can see it here rather than having to ask first. Numbers and certificates — licences, registrations and certificates of currency — are issued directly on request.
Licences and registrations
These are held by Fire Rated Systems, and confirmed current as at the date given at the end of this record. Licence and registration numbers are not published — we issue them directly to clients, principal contractors and procurement teams on request, along with the certificates themselves.
- Building contractor registration — Western Australia
- Class A asbestos removal licence — friable and non-friable material
- Class B asbestos removal licence — non-friable material
Industry membership and practitioner standing
Industry membership and accredited practitioner standing held by FRS and by individuals within the business. FPAS and CM3 are competency and prequalification schemes — they say something about how FRS works and who does the work.
- FPA Australia — Gold Member
- FPAS Recognised Business — Fire Protection Accreditation Scheme
- CM3 — contractor prequalification
Insurance
Fire Rated Systems carries the insurances appropriate to commercial passive fire work. Certificates of currency are available to clients and principal contractors on request.
How we work on site
FRS works within the safety systems of the site we are on. On operating buildings that usually means site-specific inductions, permits, restricted access, work around occupied areas and agreed shutdown windows — planned before the crew arrives rather than negotiated on the day.
We do not publish safety statistics or claim certifications we do not hold. What we can show is the process: how access is planned, how work is supervised, how defects are closed out, and what records come back at the end of a job.
Quality and project records
Passive fire work is largely concealed once construction closes up, so the record of what was installed matters as much as the installation. FRS captures installation records, photographs before concealment, asset information and completion records.
Technical review
FRS keeps general information separate from project-specific advice, and does not let one be mistaken for the other. Unusual site conditions, higher-risk details and any observation produced with AI assistance are escalated to a person before they are relied on, rather than presented as a conclusion.
Currency
Every credential here was current as at 16 September 2026. Ask us for a copy of any of them and we will send it.
